This privacy policy explains how Elara Voss (“I”, “me”, “my”) collects, uses, and protects personal data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and applicable Dutch law. This policy applies to the website at elaravoss.dev.

What data is collected and why?

Email enquiries

When you email me at hello@elaravoss.dev, I collect the email address you send from and the contents of your message. I use this information solely to respond to your enquiry and assess whether I am a good fit for your project. Legal basis: legitimate interest (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)).

Server logs

This site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare may process your IP address and browser information in server logs for security and performance purposes. I do not have access to individual log records. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy for details.

No cookies, no analytics

This website does not set any cookies. I do not use Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, or any other third-party tracking scripts. There is no advertising, no remarketing, and no cross-site tracking.

How long is data retained?

Email correspondence is retained for as long as the client relationship is active, plus two years thereafter for administrative purposes. If no project results from an enquiry, correspondence is deleted within six months.

Your rights under GDPR

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data I hold about you
• Correct inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data (“right to be forgotten”)
• Object to processing based on legitimate interest
• Data portability (receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format)
• Lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens)

Third-party services

This site uses no third-party services that receive personal data, with the exception of Cloudflare (infrastructure) as noted above.

Changes to this policy

If I make material changes to this policy, I will update the “Last updated” date above. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
